Headed to Chile!

Image
I'm super stoked to leave for Chile on Monday and get out of the CCM prinson (haha)! It's been a busy week with learning a lot of Spanish.  It is so hard but I can speak more and understand more everyday.  I also finished the Book of Mormon!   I gave a talk in sacrament meeting all in Spanish on the restoration and my testimony including why I am serving a mission. Everyone really liked my talk and said my Spanish was great! Read Alma 56 about the 2000 Stripling Warriors.  It's my favorite story in the Book of Mormon. #godsarmyletsgo Elder Seager

I got to play soccer this week in the soccer cage!  It was so fun and made me miss the Battlin Bear boys!!!! I megged three elders and now they call me Messi. My favorite story this week is about Einstein.  So Einstein is at a conference with all of the top scientists in the world.  He is asked a question about whether he believes in God.  He puts his watch on the table and takes it completely apart and lays all the components and every little part on the table.  He asks the scientists if they think in 10,000 years if it is possible for all these parts to go back into the watch.  They all say no not without help.  He then says how do you think the earth was formed?  It is too perfect for us and all the creatures to live here.  There has to be a higher power. Another part I liked this week was about the Ricciardi Letter.  It's pretty cool go search it and read it.  My favorite part of the letter is where it says "If you ...

Loving it ...

My companion and I taught Priesthood this week.  We taught from the book Christ's Ideals for Living on the attributes of Christ.  That book is awesome.  We taught about 65 elders and it went well I think.  My companion was sick this past week and I was able to give him a blessing. He got feeling better the next day.  It was super dope. I love Alma 38.  If you get a chance go read it and replace the name son with your name.   It's the best. I am loving it here.  I love the Mexican people, the noises at night - haha - gun shots, fireworks and dogs barking all the time.  There is nothing better!  I only have about 3 weeks left here.  It is going fast.   Below is a picture of me with the head chef Estabon.  He is such a freaking bro!   #godsarmyletsgo Elder Seager
