La Actitud Es Todo!

Attitude is everything! Today was awesome! I played soccer and was able to see Elder Chase Ebeling! So great! This week was really good. It is frustrating you can't go knock on doors to talk to people and yelling through the gates gets old. We kept at it all week and were able to talk to a man who was interested in reading the Book of Mormon and also talked to another man on the bus. The man on the bus knew very little about missionaries other than we were nice to everyone. He wanted to read the Book of Mormon so we gave him one and referred him to missionaries in his area. We had a baptism on Saturday for this dope 13 year old boy who already knows so much about the church. I confirmed him on Sunday in Sacrament Meeting in my broken Spanish. He was so happy and understood what I said so it all worked out. I kept thinking this week about the time that our family took food and supplies to the African refuge...

Street soccer with the elders

I got to play soccer this week in the soccer cage! It was so fun and made me miss the Battlin Bear boys!!!! I megged three elders and now they call me Messi. My favorite story this week is about Einstein. So Einstein is at a conference with all of the top scientists in the world. He is asked a question about whether he believes in God. He puts his watch on the table and takes it completely apart and lays all the components and every little part on the table. He asks the scientists if they think in 10,000 years if it is possible for all these parts to go back into the watch. They all say no not without help. He then says how do you think the earth was formed? It is too perfect for us and all the creatures to live here. There has to be a higher power. Another part I liked this week was about the Ricciardi Letter. It's pretty cool go search it and read it. My favorite part of the letter is where it says "If you ...

Take a Step Back

What's good boys? This week was freaking the best week of the mission so far. We are starting to find people to teach and the work is getting faster. The days are 300 times better when we have lessons and are not contacting all day. I taught a really dope lesson on the Plan of Salvation to this kid who's 13!!! We taught it all in English because the kid wants to learn more English. We asked him where he learned English and you won't believe it. hahaah He said Fortnite!!!! So... video games are really good for you! hahahaha We were teaching him and he had so many good questions and was just killing it. At the end, he said that the gospel and going to church was making him happy and this was the happiest he had been in his whole life. He also said he wants so serve a mission and help people in the States learn Spanish.
