Chile

I made it to Chile!  I'm working hard on Spanish so I can talk to people.  The food here is great and the members take good care of us.  I've been to the temple twice since I have been here.

All of the houses have big fences and gates around them so you can't just go knock on doors.  We have to yell in through the gates to see if anyone is home and if they want to talk to us.  Also there are lots of stray dogs.  We are working with a great kid that is planning on getting baptized.  I am excited for him!  I will share more next week.

Here's my favorite fly fishing patience quote that has helped me -  "Fly fishing patience is like this - the ability to accept long periods of failure while remaining optimistic about the possibility of eventual success."

I've included a picture of me with my mission president and his wife and some of the elders in front of the temple.

Have a great week.
