Roof Work
This week was dope! We had so many good lessons and I was able to do some more service! I helped this guy build his roof on his house. It was fun! After we were done, he fed us and we talked about prophets and he loved it! We also had another great lesson with an investigator on how to feel the Spirit and how to know if it really is the Holy Ghost or something in your head. I pulled out my favorite scripture Alma 37 vs 6,7. It is so good. It says by small and simply things you will know the truth of all things! I have been thinking a lot lately on how to help other people. It's crazy, but i haven't even stooped to think about my family or friends this week. We have been so busy from building the roof to district exchanges and all other crazy things!
I had an exchange with my district leader on Thursday and it was cool. He is from Guatemala and loves teaching. We taught about the Plan of Happiness / Plan of Salvation. This is my favorite lesson to teach because afterwards people have so much more hope for this life and the life after. We also talked about things we miss and things that are hard here on the mission. It was just good to talk to this bro in Spanish. He said my Spanish is balling out! I'm happy about that, but i still can't understand half the things these bros say here. hahahha!! I am starting to really enjoy my time here on the mission and loving the people more and more everyday!
Our mission president gave us Saints the book, so I'm excited to read it and am looking forward to this upcoming week! It's getting cold here and it finally snowed in the mountains!! It made me really happy and made me miss the WAMAS crew, but we will shred soon boys!
Have a great week!
