God will answer our prayers in weird ways ...

This past week was weird. I was super sad and hated my life on Monday and Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, I prayed and asked to help me change my attitude. Then I was able to do two full days of service and man I loved that! We built walls in this girls house we are teaching and put up the drywall. Then the second day, we moved a family. We didn't have a car or a truck so we had to walk about 10 minutes down the crazy Santiago street with their stuff.  Hahaha! It was way fun and helped me a lot!

I taught this kid about the atonement and he loved it! He started crying once he realized he was a child of God and God loves him! We have been trying to have to members help us with the work and lessons and they are loving it! We taught a really big lesson and the brother that helped us killed it! He helped one of our investigators get ready for his baptism coming up on Saturday.  The ward is pumped.  I had a really spiritual high and felt the holy drug aka the Holy Ghost.  It was nutty.  We were doing the baptism questions with our friend and he said he feels at peace every time he goes to church!  He said he loves the gospel and feels happier than he has in his life.  He came with us to listen to General Conference and he loved the talk from President Nelson about how much the church helps other people around the world. I loved that talk as well! He passed his interview on Sunday after the General Conference and there was such a strong spirit with him. He is so happy to follow Christ and even more pumped to get the Holy Ghost!!! Freak boys if there's one thing I have come to learn is that the mission sucks so much all the time and then like 10 percent of the time it's absolutely legendary! It makes you so happy to help other people be happier in their life and feel the Holy Ghost.  Hard to explain! I had this dope interview with my Mission President.  He told me that 90 percent that sucks is like homework and the 10 percent is like your baller test score! He also said he can see me getting refined and can see how much of a better missionary I have become in less than 8 months.  I may do another change here in my area, so we will see what happens on Monday!

I've had a little doubt about the Book of Mormon so I did what any normal person would do and prayed! Then I was walking down this street and this lady looks at me and starts running at me like really fast hahaha! I got a little scared! She came up to me and shook my hand really hard and said "Your book has changed my life and I have been able to find out who Jesus Christ is better and have been able to find peace and more joy in my life. Thanks for everything you are doing and runs away before we could talk to her.  This happened one day after I prayed for confirmation. Funny I have been here almost 8 months and know everyone here in the streets and all the crazy guys in the streets, but I have never seen this girl. Our prayers are answered and not always the way we think. Then, I am walking back from church and this bro yells at me and says hey you are mormon right?  We say yes.  He walks over and I am thinking he wants to fight us, but no this bro is not a member and said he has been studying the Bible and Book of Mormon for 13 years and says he has studied every church in the world.  He says the LDS church is the most true church.  It is simple, true and has prophets like in the Bible. We taught him about the priesthood and it helped him understand it even more. God will answer our prayers, but we have to look for what he is giving us to work with. lol

Dope story of the week - I set my Book of Mormon down to grind with this bro we were teaching and help him hammer up this book shelf. I am hammering it up and look back and his dog was sitting there just eating my Book of Mormon so that sucked!  hahaha

Have a great week!
